Membership

MEMBERSHIP IN THE GUILD

 

The object of the Guild is to promote the appreciation of and to contribute to the knowledge of fine quality quilts;

to sponsor and support quilting activities;

to encourage quilt making and collection;

to encourage growth of the knowledge of quilting techniques, textiles, history of patterns and quilt makers; and to promote fellowship, mutual aid and common interest.

Membership: Membership is open to all persons who have an interest in quilts and who pay the annual dues assessed by the Guild.

 

Guests: A person may attend no more than two (2) meetings as a guest. The third attendance will require payment of annual dues assessed by the Guild.

 

Dues: The annual dues of the Guild are due and payable in March and shall be fifteen dollars ($15.00) and either four (4) fat quarters from a quilt shop or a $10 gift certificate to a quilt shop in Baldwin County, Alabama, or Escambia County, Florida. There will be no proration. Octogenarians shall be accorded full membership without the payment of dues. Memberships not renewed by March 31 of each year shall be terminated.
