The one with the pocket is for the label and the QOV papers but it is also a foot pocket!
He is in the process of doing the 911 quilt with 3/4 inch squares and when it is finished it will hang at the 911 memorial.  The Iwo Jima quilt is done in 1 inch squares even the background.
He gave us lots of tips and information of how different fabrics are made now.   It was a very awesome presentation!
